Why We Created the NALA Lip Routine
For a long time, beauty has treated lips as the finishing touch.
A little gloss. A balm when they feel dry. A pretty color before leaving the house.
But lips go through a lot on a daily basis. We talk, eat, drink, apply and remove makeup, and move through the Gulf’s hot, dry climate.
What is Squalane
Squalane is a skin-identical lipid. In simple terms, it’s an ingredient that closely resembles the natural oils your skin already produces.
Because your lips recognize it so well, squalane absorbs beautifully without feeling heavy or sticky. Instead of sitting on the surface, it helps replenish moisture while supporting your lip barrier.
What’s Not Inside Matters Too
At NALA, we don't formulate to chase trends or make long "free from" lists. We formulate with intention.
Every ingredient has a job. If it doesn't make the formula better, it simply doesn't belong.
